ask me not grand questions
on the purpose and meaning of life
and existence, I do not know,
not a thing more than you,
seeking the essential facts of life
to the thick woods I have been
and the seas and deserts
spanning horizons; wisdom
of the recluses sought:
know the happiness of being-
as I am just happy to be here
on earth, in the humdrum of being
breathing, just breathing
in the glory of all creation
freeing myself from the mundane
burden of existence
breathe, breathe, seek nothing
or seek as much you wish
but return to
the happiness of just being-
live, love, laugh
in time
pass away
proffering a wish,
always and ever:
always and ever:
‘Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu’
'Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu' ~ the Swasthi Vachanam which translates as: ‘May happiness be unto the world’
Me in a Yogic mood?
Not exactly, this is a modified response to a query by one of my students as to what I think is ‘the essential fact of life’….Guess what – it was a class that discussed scientific advancements by man.
With children…that’s it…You just never know from where to where it goes…
